Gavin has joined the youth community in July of 2005. He comes to us having been a youth minister since '94. His first response to God's call came in service to summer missions camps. Since then he has supported youth ministries in many capacities from church volunteer with youth, volunteer Jr. High Director, church staff over all youth ministries, worked with Campus for Christ, leading ecumenical retreats, spoken at graduations, named staff & board member of the Edge Ministries, consulted & published author with the Upper Room and United Methodist Publishing House, and named Tennessee Conference Youth Coordinator of the UMC.
Gavin currently is engaged to Erin, a wonderfully gifted person & youth minister herself. He lives with two dogs, Coe and Crimson. He hopes in the future to pursue a degree in theologic studies as well as a certification as a spiritual director, putting his "multiple book disorder" to good use.
